These terms cover your use of reachmediaanddesign.com. Work we do for clients is governed by the proposal and agreement we sign with you, which takes precedence over anything here.

Using this site

You're welcome to browse, read, and share our content. Please don't use the site to break the law, scrape it at a rate that affects other visitors, attempt to gain unauthorized access, or upload anything malicious.

Our content

The text, design, code, graphics, and photographs on this site belong to Reach Media & Design LLC unless stated otherwise. You may quote or link to our articles with attribution. You may not republish them wholesale or pass them off as your own.

Client work shown in our portfolio remains the property of those clients and appears here with their permission.

Proposals and quotes

A proposal is an offer, not a contract. Work begins when both parties sign an agreement and any required deposit is paid. Pricing in a proposal is valid for [VALIDITY PERIOD, e.g. 30 days] unless the proposal says otherwise.

Ownership of work we build

On final payment, you own the website, artwork, and content we produce for you, as set out in your agreement. We keep the right to show the work in our portfolio and describe our role in it, unless you ask us in writing not to.

Third-party components — WordPress, Divi, plugins, fonts, stock imagery — remain subject to their own licences.

Hosting and services

Managed hosting and ongoing services are billed [BILLING CYCLE, e.g. monthly in advance]. Either party may cancel with [NOTICE PERIOD] notice. We'll provide a copy of your site files and database on request when an arrangement ends.

We aim for continuous uptime but can't guarantee it. Outages caused by upstream providers, attacks, or events outside our control are not our liability.

Links to other sites

We link to businesses we trust, including the partners listed on Friends of Reach. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content or their privacy practices.

No warranties

This website is provided as is. We make no guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that the information on it is complete or current at any given moment.

Marketing results vary. Nothing on this site is a guarantee of rankings, traffic, leads, or revenue.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Reach Media & Design LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from your use of this site or our services, including lost profits, lost data or business interruption.

Where we are found liable, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts serving Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version on this page, with the date at the top, is the one that applies.
